Janet founded CenterBarre Connected with a clear vision in mind: fitness should be, effective, efficient, sustainable, and fun!

Effective and efficient refer to our obsession with fitness being good for you, and not wasting your time. Sustainable means that our program is designed to last a lifetime and is doable at any age, size, or fitness level. And fun speaks for itself!

Janet, a lifelong athlete, kung fu black belt, and master barre instructor, has a fresh take on the barre workout that is inclusive for everyone.

Our program targets the small muscles that support your joints. It’s easy to forget about these muscles, but research has shown that strengthening them prevents injuries and redefines bodies far more quickly than other exercise programs.

One of our core beliefs is that fitness starts from the center. While it might seem like we’re working our muscles, our minds & spirits are driving us. CenterBarre treats its community as a collection of beautiful, special individuals. Everyone is welcome in the CenterBarre family!
